Social and Community Participation Support Services

At Amani Care we are NDIS registered provide and deliver an extensive range of social and community participation support services. Our mission is to provide the support needed to empower individuals, including NDIS Participants, to actively engage in their communities. 

You know we will be there when you need us with our 24/7 support. Our holistic approach means that we will meet your unique needs. This is because we know that being part of the community is important to a lot of NDIS participants.

We’re based in Pakenham and provide our services not only to the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne but also to the South Gippsland, Baw Baw, Wellington and Latrobe City Shires. This includes the towns of  Leongatha, Warragul, Traralgon, Morwell, Mirboo North and Sale.

The types of support we provide  includes transport to the activity, as well as support while the activity is being undertaken. We can also assist in developing skills to enable participation in activities. Meeting your individual needs is at the core of all we do.

  • Educational and training programmes

What type ofsocial and community participation support services does the ndis fund?

This funding  provided by NDIS is for participants to achieve goals associated with engaging in community, social, or recreational activities. These activities can take place either in a centre or within a community setting.  Support can include assistance in getting to the activity as well as during the activity.

Increased Social and Community Participation may also be funded by the NDIS. This includes capacity Building Supports. This is where activities are undertaken  to specifically build skills and independence. Types of activities include art classes, sport coaching and tuition fees.
