What type of household and domestic support services does the ndis fund?

Help with household and domestic support is available to NDIS participants. It is in the category of Core Supports, under the Assistance with Daily Life category. The aim is to help NDIS participants to continue living as independently as possible at home by providing the support they need.

Funding through NDIS is generally available for participants who have goals to live more independently. The funding is usually provided if the participant needs the household tasks performed for them, needs physical assistance with the tasks or just needs someone to supervise them doing this tasks. In this case, the objective is to help the participant improve their skills and build independence.
