Amani Care Services are registered with the NDIS and provide solutions for Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industries – including the NDIS. We have a particular focus on both providing mental health nursing, high intensity community nursing and palliative care for our clients.

For many Australians living with disability, in home care and support allows them to live comfortably in their own home and actively participate within their community. At Amani Care we understand that this is everything. That is why we are focused on bringing care home to you. Our team of dedicated allied health professionals, nurses, and care workers are highly trained and hold qualifications in Disability Support Services and Home and Community Care.

We also have a home in Clyde North where we offer short term (also called respite care), medium term as well supported independent living options 

We’re based in Pakenham and provide our NDIS services not only to the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne but also to the South Gippsland, Baw Baw, Wellington and Latrobe City Shires. This encompasses towns such as Leongatha, Warragul, Traralgon, Morwell, Mirboo North and Sale.

At Amani Care we provide a range of services along with a specialisation in mental health nursing, high intensity community nursing and palliative care. Our focus is on caring for people in their own home where they need clinical nursing support.

Our community nurses work closely with both doctors and allied health professional to provide the highest level of care at all times, where the individual’s needs are at the core of all we do. 

Mental Health Nursing

High Intensity Community Nursing

Some of the community nursing services we provide include:

  • Care in your home after a hospital stay  
  • General nursing care – including wound management and medicine management 
  • ‘Hospital in the home services’, as an alternative to being in hospital
  • Complex bowel care
  • Urinary catheter management
  • Enteral feeding
  • Subcutaneous injections
  • Skin integrity checks
  • Monitoring of vital signs

Pallative Care

Some of the palliative care  services we provide include:

  • Pain management
  • Personal care support
  • Respite care to give family and carers a break
  • Supported independent living options where 24/7 support is provided
  • Connecting to high quality therapy sessions as required – including massage and aromatherapy to improve quality of life
  • Emotional support for both you, your family and carers when needed
  • End of life support

Our Full Range of Services

We provide an extensive range of care services with our highly qualified and skilled staff. You know we will be there when you need us with our 24/7 support. Our holistic approach means that will meet your unique needs by using a diverse range of approaches that is guided by evidence based practice,

Household and Domestic Support

We provide household and domestic support. This includes cleaning, cooking, laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping.

Housing and Accommodation

We offer supported independent living options, as well as short term (also called respite care) and medium term, in our Clyde North home.

NDIS Positive behaviour Support

We use Positive Behaviour Plans to assist in improving a participant’s life, while addressing any complex needs.

Social and community participation

We understand social and community participation is important. That's why we provide the support needed to participate in the activities you are interested in.

High intensity community nursing

We assist where clinical nursing support is needed. This can include care after a hospital stay and medication management.

Mental health nursing

We support individuals with an array of mental health issues with the aim of improving quality of life.

Palliative Care nursing

The palliative Care nursing support we provide enables patients to better manage their illness by using an interdisciplinary approach.

Development of Life Skills

We help in the development of life skills to help you build independence and confidence. This can range from assisting with meal preparation to developing social networks.

Support Coordination

We can help you get the most out of your NDIS plan and connect you with the services you need as well as navigating through the often complex NDIS system.

Amani Care provides both assistance and / or supervision for a variety of daily personal activities. This includes for NDIS Participants.

Assistance with daily personal activities - high intensity

We provide high Intensity support for daily personal activities for Participants with more complex needs.
